Plain terms for using this site.
These terms cover vadix.net, the demos and tools published on it, and the free Captain download. Consulting work is governed separately by the written statement of work we sign with you.
1. Using the site
You may browse, read, link to and share anything on vadix.net. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, probe or bypass its protections, submit forms with automation, or use the content to train or seed a competing service without permission.
2. Demos and sample content
The showcase websites and app landings are demonstrations of what we build. The businesses in them are fictional; any resemblance to a real business is coincidental. Their forms send nothing and their prices, reviews and figures are illustrative. The Architect demo runs on sample data. Nothing in a demo is an offer to sell a product or service at the terms shown.
3. Captain
Captain is provided free of charge under the VADIX free-use licence: you may install and use it on as many of your own devices as you like. You may not redistribute, resell, rent, modify, reverse-engineer or bundle it, or remove its notices. Your meeting content is yours; Captain does not send it to VADIX. Captain is provided as is, without warranty, and we may change or discontinue it at any time. The full licence text is shown in the installer.
4. Content and trademarks
The text, design, code, illustrations and the VADIX name and mark on this site belong to VADIX LLC unless stated otherwise. Client names, product names and logos belong to their owners and appear with permission or under fair use. You may quote short passages with attribution.
5. Consulting engagements
Descriptions of services, first steps, timelines and prices on this site are general information, not an offer. Every engagement is defined by a written proposal and statement of work that sets the scope, fee, deliverables, ownership of work product and confidentiality terms; where those documents and this page differ, the signed documents govern.
6. Third-party links
Links to other websites, including client sites and Microsoft, Cloudflare and Google resources, are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
7. No warranty, limited liability
The site and its downloads are provided as is and as available. We work to keep the information accurate and the site secure, but we do not warrant that either is error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent the law allows, VADIX LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the site, a demo or Captain; our total liability in connection with the site is limited to one hundred US dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here limits the terms of a signed engagement.
8. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, and any dispute about the site will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.
10. Changes and contact
